Each point in the dataset corresponds to a soil boring log and is hyperlinked to the scanned copy of the log. Some points may have an additional hyperlink that relates to field and laboratory test results of soil samples taken. The boring logs and test results were compiled from various geotechnical investigation reports and other project documents in various agencies such as DWR Division of Engineering Project Geology Office, DWR FloodSAFE Environmental Stewardship and Statewide Resources Office Delta Levees Environmental and Engineering Branch, DWR Division of Flood Management ULE/NULE Programs, and URS Corp. The associated data are considered DWR enterprise GIS data, which meet all appropriate requirements of the DWR GIS Spatial Data Standards. DWR makes no warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied, as to the completeness, accuracy or correctness of the data, nor accepts or assumes any liability arising from or for any incorrect, incomplete or misleading subject data.The official DWR GIS Data Steward for this dataset is Scott Sochar, who may be contacted at 916-376-1760, or at scott.sochar@water.ca.gov.
